SOUTH SHORE OPEN DOORS ASSOCIATION
BRAND VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN
South Shore Open Doors Association (SSODA) is a non-profit organization based in the Southern Nova Scotia, Canada, focusing on creating access to housing in the region. They do this by working with regional and provincial government agencies, organizations, and landlords to support, educate, and build capacity for housing solutions.
As a new organization, SSODA needed a strong brand visual identity to establish itself as an advocate, community partner and proactive group. They engaged FARON.DESIGN to create a logo and supporting visual assets to represent their mission, mandate, and preferred tone.
By working with their board and executive director, the focus was to develop a logo that would not only be recognizable and memorable, but one that could also be flexible to work with a variety of marketing and communications materials. We also assured to create a visual language that would connect with their target audiences and help SSODA build a trusted brand.
SSODA has made considerable ground in becoming a vital organization to solving the housing crisis and a key partner among other regional organizations, agencies, and government. Their new visual identity has played an important role in helping position them as a professional, credible, and approachable organization committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve.
"Working with Faron has been a huge blessing. He is thoughtful, professional, and understands the pressure and limited time an Executive Director has to make decisions. Not only has he provided us with a beautiful visual identity, he has provided us with a website that is clear, concise, and easy to navigate. It is exactly what we dreamed of, and we are so thankful he made our dream a reality."
